This text describes the views of US citizen Karin Anderson who interprets contemporary events around Israel and their neighbors through her understanding of the Bible and sources she believes are in line with Biblical teaching whereby she merges past and present into one since God is the same throughout history. Karin Anderson’s views clearly need to be placed in the wider context of Christian Zionism that sees Israel in the past and contemporary times as the fulfillment of prophecies and thus divine support for Israel. Her views lead to strong support for the state of Israel. She does differentiate between the state of Israel and the individual actions and statements of individual Israeli leaders, but regardless what they do, she beliefs every Christian should support the state of Israel and oppose all parties that oppose Israel’s policies.
