We have again names online that are not standardized. We need a system that forces translators and editors to use the correct transliteration. For example a code that marks a name of a person and giving a warning signal when the name is not in the namelist. This should apply for every list we have: names of persons, names of locations, names of glossary, names of organizations. The translator and/or editor then would just mark a name as belonging to a certain list and the translator/editor will see whether that name is in the list of correct spellings or not. This problem with lack of standardized spellings is frustrating because it creates problems with search. Again I had this when I wanted to show some texts from our website to scholars in Edinburgh. This is not good and needs to be resolved.
